What we collect
- Account info: name and email from your Google account (used for login only)
- Child profiles: first name, pronouns, avatar emoji, and birth date (used to personalize the experience)
- Behavioral logs: timestamped taps recording positive behaviors, recovery moments, and daily bonus awards
- Consent records: timestamp, IP address, and ToS version when you agree to the guardian warranty
What we never collect
- Diagnostic or medical information
- Information directly from children
- Location data, contacts, or device identifiers
- Advertising or tracking data
How we use it
Your data is used exclusively to:
- Display behavioral progress to caregivers and the child
- Calculate streaks, daily bonuses, and reward tiers
- Enable multi-caregiver collaboration
- Generate the kid-friendly Explorer view
We do not sell, share, or monetize your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not train AI models on your child's behavioral data.
Where it's stored
All data is stored on Supabase-managed PostgreSQL infrastructure with row-level security (RLS) enforced at the database layer. Each user can only access children they have an explicit membership relationship with.
Who can see it
- Caregivers: adults you explicitly invite via a single-use invite link
- Explorer view: anyone with the private share link can see the child's progress (stars, streaks, badges only -- never raw logs)
- No one else: we have no admin dashboards that display your child's data. Infrastructure access is limited to database maintenance.
Data retention and deletion
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can delete your entire account and all associated child data permanently from the profile settings page. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Children's privacy (COPPA)
Kindkiddos does not collect information directly from children. All data is entered by adult caregivers who have confirmed their identity and authority via the guardian consent flow. The Explorer view is read-only and requires no account creation.
